Alden Indy Boot

The boots I chose to wear this year are the Alden Indy Boot in Tobacco Reverse Chamois. I started the Patina Thunderdome in the late entry. I live in Southern California. I work nights as a casino Table Games dealer. Days, I'm usually homeschooling my kids, making dinner, and running errands. Because I couldn't wear my boots to work, most days I wore them were spent at home. I was able to get 95 wears in total. The leather on these boots is very soft and supple. They broke in very easily and initially took on heavy crocking around the ankle from my indigo jeans. They were very comfortable from the beginning and I was glad to wear them for the whole competition. I found the soles the hardest to wear in because most of my time was spent indoors but the uppers got plenty of exercise with all my running around at home. I liked this leather from the beginning but now, after 5 months of wear, it's spectacular. It is deep, rich, velvety, soft, and well worn. Thank you.
