Grant Stone Brass Boot

We made it! The Dome has come to an end and what a ride. This is the first time i have participated, and was it eye opening for the next one. Like many domers i am sure, I stretched the functionality of my Brass boots to their limits. That is not to say i didn't baby them for most of the Dome. I did, conscience to not kick every chair, table, or curb i come in contact with like i seem to do in my old red wings. Instead, i wore them everywhere, even when i wasn't supposed to. Going into the office, brass boots. Working on the car or outside, brass boots. Sneaking them as "safety toe" boots at test sites, brass boots (kids don't do this!). I can positively say that these were the only Dome boots which worked on rocket sleds this year (potentially we could get a new land speed record this year). If i am wrong in that assertion, then shame on me for not recognizing another boot enthusiast when i ran into in the wild. It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine, just try to drive a small commuter with a manual transmission in these. That said, these Boots will hold a special place in my heart as my first thunderdome pair, and they helped me realize what i want in next year's pair. Congrats to all participants, and start getting those boots ordered (if you haven't already) for next October.
