Grant Stone Diesel Boot

I really liked the versatility that Grant Stone's Diesel boots provided. I felt comfortable wearing these to the office and casually on the weekends. This was my first experience with waxy commander leather, but I was impressed by it. Seeing the nap start to become more prominent compared to initial smooth appearance gave a sense of accomplishment that I had really made the boots my own and showed the journeys they took me through. While primarily with in an office environment, I also wore them on a couple of hikes through some of California's desert state parks. Participating in the Thunderdome was somewhat nostalgic experience for me. Having a dedicated pair of boots that I knew I would be wearing provided a nice routine. There is comfort in already having my footwear selected and feeling the boots mold to my feet until they ensconced them in a leathery hug. This competition reminded me of back when I got my first pair of nice boots that became a staple of my wardrobe. I had a lot of fun wearing these. With some consistent brushing, use of trees, and the occasional conditioning, I'm looking forward to wearing these boots for years to come.
