Grant Stone Field Boot

The Dome has forever changed my perspective on leather boots. I have never owned any leather boots before. I naively thought the cost was not worth it, but little did I know I would be proven wrong in just a few months. My sister participated in the last dome, and having a competitive nature the idea of a leather shoe competition intrigued me. So I took the leap and bought my first leather boots. I was shocked how comfortable my Grant Stone Field Boots were right off the back, I wrongly assumed anything made fully of leather would be very stiff to start. After already successfully challenging my skepticism of the worth of leather boots, I found myself pushing right back and taking these boots along for the ride through my busy life to see if they would last. We survived the constant heat, humidity and rain of Singapore and Malaysia. They saved my feet from the cold of a Spanish winter and the fatigue you'd expect from traveling to Barcelona to Valencia to Madrid in 1.5 weeks through all of the city streets and endless museums. We celebrated the New Year with a roadtrip around muddy Ireland, even hiking through an unexpected downpour with dry socks all the way! We weathered through last minute business trips to windy San Francisco and rainy Seattle (along with a rare day of snow!). Even the snow in Sweden felt bearable in these boots, from Stockholm to Uppsala to Abisko to try and see the northern lights (but sadly all we experienced up in the Artic Circle was a blizzard!). Back home in San Diego, we hoped to enjoy a break from the snow/rain with a trip to Joshua Tree NP and the desert areas, but this has been the rainiest winter I've ever experienced in Southern California. To escape the rain, we found ourselves driving up to the slopes of Big Bear and Brianhead resort in Utah to get some boarding in before the season ends. Through all of this, my Grant Stones have kept my feet comfortable, dry (not to mention super stylish!) and ready to adventure on.
