Nicks Officer

Thunderdome 2.0 was vastly different than the OG Dome. I stayed in the Pacfic Northwest for bootmakers. Instead of White’s, I went with Nick’s. I thought this would be a similar experience, and was proved how wrong I was. When I bought these boots, I thought due to a similar last of my Hikers, the Officer Boot would break in and ultimately feel close to what I had, only taller. Wrong! This boot was heavier, thicker and all around a tougher boot. I questioned what I knew about boots with these. Thought I was never going to find the comfort I normally find in boots. Finally in late January, did the boot finely give in. Though it would be the same time I got the yearly boot fatigue. Along with getting a pair of new Grant Stones. Overall, I am happy with these boots. They are hardy, and supportive. They finally look and feel broken in.
