Thursday Vanguard

This has been an awesome #patinathunderdome session. It's kinda hard to write an essay about a pair of boots that have only been on my feet for 6 months, but here it goes. These Lean Green Mean Thursday Machines have been with me through thick and thin the past 6 months. They've accompanied me scaling hills and trekking through the various New England forests. They've seen some days in the field with me at work as an HVAC/R contractor and most recently I wore them at my grandmother's funeral in the mud and clay that is Southern California. These boots are a great all around player that can get polished up for dress and a casual night out, or they can get clobbered on the job, then cleaned and Obenauf'd. I guess "Obenauf'd" is an adjective! I'll get props on them usually for the cool green luster that is developing as I condition them as the oils in the leather work their way in. I can't wait to see how they fare in a few years. Thank you Ben for organizing such a cool contest. Be safe out there fellas!
