More about this item

I decided to make a pair of logger style boots from 3.8mm thick Italian vegetable tanned leather sometime around may of 2023. I built the entire pair of boots in my room with limited hand tools over a period of roughly half a year. Every single stitch in this entire pair of boots is saddle stitched since I didn't know any other way of stitching them together. I learned a lot making these boots but I am still quite OK with the outcome. I am planning to hike the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail with them this September.
