This pair of boots did not miss a single day of wear in the 6 months. They spent the majority of their hours at Perennial Artisan Ales brewing, cellaring, and packaging beer, hauling, filling, and emptying barrels, and installing, maintaining, and fixing equipment- these boots have climbed, crawled, and crouched just about every square inch of the brewery in the last 6 months. Time away from the brewery in these boots have hiked, foraged, and frolicked dozens of miles through the forest, scampered up and down waterfalls, and crept through canyons. They have also covered tens of thousands of miles chasing around my 18 months old son… I was much kinder to this pair than I am with my typical pair of steel toed Thorogoods because these are only celastic toed. They didnt see the blatant abuse that my work boots usually do and were washed with saddle soap a few times and conditioned with obenaufs lp afterward. These were hands down, the most difficult boot I have broken in and i bet it took a few hundred hours before these were really comfortable. The combination of a lace to toe and a fully leather-lined horsehide boot was a true force to be reckoned with for almost 2 months, but now they are by far my most confortable pair that i own. Like slippers- if slippers came in 8” loggers.
