I’ve used my Role Clubs for just about any occasion that a work boot wouldn’t quite do. The refined silhouette make them suitable for the office, for date nights, to church, and to lots of happy hours. I’ve worn them in the rain, in the snow and to the ranch. It’s really a testament to how well built these boots are that I taken them everywhere and they still look amazing. These took awhile to break in… well honestly, I feel like I am still breaking them in. But these are the type of boots that just keep getting better and will serve me for years to come. The horsehide is amazing and is such an amazing leather.
The leather is really supple but also strong. I’ve mainly taken care of them with a brush. A few months in I used some Saphir nuetral Cordovan Cream. I also applied some Venetian Show Cream around month 5. But honestly this leather didn’t a lot of care, it responded to brushing really well and the vamp is just beginning to show slight rolls from the shell hiding within the horsebooty.
These were custom fit by Brian the Bootmaker. They are a role club size 30.5 and are the best fitting boots that I’ve ever worn. I love the last and the support is absolutely perfect.
Role Clubs are amazing boots. The construction is top notch and the boots are so refined compared to my other engineers. In the future, I woud request slightly thicker leather on the straps as these tend to flare more than I would prefer. I initially went with 8 as a boot for made hot Texas summers but in the future I’ll go with at least 10 inches on engineer boots
The soles are thick and werent the easiest to break in… that being said once they do, they are really, really good.
Very balanced and perfect. Great grip on these boots.
It’s been an honor to get to experience these boots. They are next level and I’d definitely recommend Brian’s work to friends.
