Extreme Conditions

Worn for work Monday through Friday, and occasional overtime. Mostly working on concrete sidewalks and asphalt roads, the occasional day here and there spent driving. These boots have seen a fair amount of snow and salt this winter.

Care Routine
Patina Process

The 64 Monarch has evolved beautifully. It's been a real pleasure inspecting it after each week observing the subtle characteristics that it has developed. Care routine has been a horsehair brushing after each work day and a wet cloth wipedown at the end of each week. The leather is fully broken in. Soft and supple with a butter like feel on the fingertips.

Satisfied with the Fit

The fit and comfort is spot on. Took a little while to adjust to the 55, but now it wears like a dream. No pain or discomfort anywhere!

Craftsmanship

Nicks BuilderPro

I mean, what can I say that hasn't been said over and over again? The Nicks BP is top notch quality and construction. It doesn't get any better in my book!

Traction
Comfort

Very durable. Picks up every pebble and requires a hose off or air hose most days before leaving work. Superb traction. Slightly harder feel than the honey lug sole. Not sure if the trade off for durability is worth it.
