Mostly worn around the city on walks with my dog and doing everyday activities. No serious hiking or heavy work use. I didn’t baby these. They’ve seen plenty of mud, rain, snow, salt, etc and took it like a champ. Maryam horsebutt is some really tough stuff.
These got conditioned once with bick4 after being worn in the snow. Other than that minimal care beyond cleaning with a damp cloth and brushing.
Great last for a wide forefoot and toe area but otherwise low volume. Probably best for a lower instep or flat foot. Not a lot of vertical room for the toes when unstructured. Very little arch support. Heel is on the narrow side but not tightly cupped. I probably need a half size up and an orthotic for some support.
This is a top tier makeup. The unlined shaft had shell exposed in one of the boots which was very neat. TPR horsebutt is some excellent and durable leather. Viberg construction is top notch if a little overbuilt for casual use. Clicking on this pair was superb.
Very durable and hard wearing. Excellent traction in all conditions. Very hard and stiff until broken in
