I have an office job but enjoy outdoor hobbies. It's starting to get colder here but the snow hasn't arrived.
I was pleasantly surprised at the tight break and rolls. The break in process was minimal as it's quite pliable. Being a laceless boot it's a bit tight but starting to stretch to my movements.
I don't know which lasts they use or their names. However their Chelsea boot last is comfortable. There is no Arch, but I have a high arch so I don't need one. The toe box is wide at EE. There is a good amount of volume as well. I have a slightly higher InStep so there is a tiny bit of tightness there, being a laceless boot I expected that and it's a good thing since they will stretch a little bit.
A simple design, but elegant. The finishing is high quality, the welt joins are very clean, low SPI in the welt - high SPI in the uppers. Lining is a good quality leather is a good thickness and smells nice. The rubber hardware used is quality.
I quite like the appearance and the brass nails. The heel seems to be wearing a bit fast, but I do walk on gravel trails so that can be quite hard on them. The traction is good comfort is acceptable, I didn't expect Uber comfort from rubber but not bad.
Good, nothing of note. Standard block heel
I was pleasantly surprised at almost every aspect, especially for the price. I came in with positive expectations since all of the few reviews I read were very positive, and these blew them away above and beyond. I'm very happy with my purchase.
