Everyday wear, doing errands, going out, causal to more formal. My lifestyle does not include a lot of business casual or formal wear, so these are plenty “formal” to me when I needed to dress up slightly.
These changed very gracefully during the dome. They look almost black in most lighting, and more brownish in direct sunligt. Up close you notice a lot of detail and it is a lot more interesting than a black boot. This makes them very versatile and cover a lot of outfits for me.
The adjustment Briselblack did to the last regarding lower instep and slim ankle really made a difference. The boot feels secure on foot, slight expected heel slip in the start, that slowly went away as the sole got used to my gait. The toe box however is a little tapered for me, and I get some toe rub. It might have been better to go true to size on these, rather than half down.
Briselblack are most known for their Chelsea boot (The Seventh). They sure make a nice chelsea boot
One of my favorite sole. Flexible, durable and performs decently in snow & ice
If you’re looking for a chelsea boot I can wholeheartedly recommend Briselblack. Tips: do not trust their size recommendations. Get your brannock confirmed and check on the discord. And make sure you swap out the stupid leather pull tab with a fabric.
