Mostly casual weekend or day off work boot. Nothing to craze in terms of wear.
Not a crazy cool patina but subtitle break coloring of the leather as it breaks in. Mostly brush off dirt with one wash with saddle soap and then some Bick4. The Kudu leather feels tougher that a traditional cow hid. Most of the character of the patina comes from the scraps and scuffs.
I probably should have done a half size shorter to get the ball in the right spot and slightly less volume. Ending up putting in a leather insole and fits well with that.
I love the double oak sole. I know not everyone is a fan of leather soles but I do enjoy them.
The only down side to the leather sole is wear at the toe tips. A toe tap is probably a great idea for these. Other than that I love the leather soles.
Great boot at a great prices. Love the kudu leather and the color makes for distinctive look without looking flashy.
