I wear these boots at least three days a week at this point. When I initially got them I was wearing them about five days to break them in. I wear them to work in an office environment and wear them out.
The Autumn Cypress has been easy to break in. The one thing with these unlike my 20 last stone ramblers is they are not lined which makes them easier to break in. The Autumn Cypress isn’t really showing that much patina to my eye. It’s subtle at least how I use them versus something like an S.B. foot Copper Rough & Tough.
They are pretty comfortable, however less so than my 20 last Truman stone ramblers. I think the 20 last is roomier and all together better for me but I make these work and they are still sufficiently comfortable as long as I’m not on my feet all day.
I love the look of this boot, it’s just a classic service boot look. Quality is great no issues with defects.
The commando sole is perfect, it keeps the look sleek while adding grip and comfort underfoot. This is how I’ll order all my Truman’s.

In an era we have service boots at about $1k, these Truman’s are a great value at sub $500 with unique diverse leathers.
