Use & wear

Physical Work
Outdoor Activities

Wore them daily at work as a mechanic, and they spent lots of time in the dirt playing fetch with my dogs. Over the course of the dome these boots have walked over 1000 miles or over 2 million steps.

Care Routine

When boots are sized and fit right no break in time is really needed. This leather is great and just forms to your foot and is supportive without being tight or putting too much pressure on my bunions. Fudge is a patina monster and I really like the way it ages and looks. Conditioned them 1 time with Smiths and 2 times with Bick 4 with brushing every couple of days.

Satisfied with the Fit

This is now my favorite JG last. I thought the SCT was it but nope the JG last is just perfect for my feet and these boots were a pleasure to wear for 6 months straight.

Craftsmanship

Jim Green AR8

These boots can’t be beat for even double the cost. The build quality is excellent and I don’t have one complaint about these boots. I really worked these boots hard and they just kept looking and getting better and better.

Durability

The sole really impressed me because I was sure I’d burn through the soft wedge sole fast but it’s held but like a champ and it’ll last another 6-8 months if not 12. Feels great underfoot and stays comfortable even on those long 16hr days.
