Use & wear

These boots have been my go to work boot for my job in a grocery store. I've used the boots four days a week covering around 9 miles a day on concrete floors, unloading deliveries stacking shelves and even shoveling snow during winter snowstorms.

Care Routine
Color Change

The brown waxed flesh has impressed me in the range of colour variations on scratches and scrapes from the deep redish brown of light scratches to the light brown of deeper gouges. To care for the boots all i've done is light brushing with a horsehair brush after wears and heavy brushing with a stiff bristle dish brush every other week.

Satisfied with the Fit

When sizing the boots I chose to size down a width due to the increased room in the toe box an my skinny ankles. Overall I am happy with this choice and feel this sizing is correct even though i experienced a hot spot on my inside ankle for the first couple wears whic i have not felt on boots sized up a width. I was plesantly suprised with the level of comfort provided by the vibram seirra sole almost matching that of the vibram 2021 wedge whilst also providing a lug sole and holding up well to heavy use on concrete.

Durability
Construction

The ND3 is built to the same high quailty ive come to expect from Nicks they're built like tanks and feel like slippers once broken in And the rubber midsole layer seem to have competely eliminate the squeaking my previous pairs of Nicks developed over time. Overall i would highly recommend Nicks as the build quaily is absolutley worth the admittedly high price.
