I've basically worn these everywhere since I picked them up. Initially I wanted to baby them, but the horsebutt just looks so good with patina.

Care Routine

It's been amazing! The slight brown core cracking through is just perfect, and the leather has become soft and supple with 6 months of wear. I've brushed them daily and treated them with VSC twice. The break in was a bit rough as the leather is stiff, but when it softens it becomes incredibly comfortable.

Satisfied with the Fit

It's overall comfortable, but I have a narrow C foot and there's a small amount of play with the last, but nothing major.

Six months in and I still just sit and stare at them. I honestly feel like the coupen is the perfect daily boot for urban environments. They have held up incredibly well, minus the toe taps which I wore out riding my motorcycle. I plan to get new toe taps after the dome wraps up.

The cork rubber sole is super comforting and durable, and the traction is surprisingly good!

Final thoughts

Would Recommend

I'm still obsessed with them, and plan to pick up a second pair of Coupens to add to my rotation. Highly recommend to anyone who is on the fence, they're great and go well with so many different styles!
