These guys have spent most of their hours kicking around Perennial Artisan Ales in St. Louis, MO and it’d probably be easier to describe what they haven’t seen. I mainly manage our barrel aging program as well as maintaining and fixing equipment and systems, but you’ll find me doing just about any job in the brewery as the operations manager. As a small team, I still spend plenty of days brewing, cellaring, and packaging beer to get the job done. It’s hot, humid, wet, and often dirty work. This winter was pretty gnarly with a ton more snow and ice than usual- whoda thought Vibram 700 isn’t ideal for ice? whoops. They’ve also spent plenty of time outdoors wandering around the woods and our family farm chasing youngins. There is endless amounts of scuffing from the brewery, but I’m sure feral toddler feet have left their mark as well.
The leather is a beast. Easy enough to break in, but indestructible with proper care. Couple rounds of saddle soap and obenaufs lp throughout the competition and a round of bick 4 at the end. It has aged to gorgeous golden and chestnut tones. Gorgeous.
Love the 55 last. By far my favorite last and can wear them all day everyday. Great support. Minimal heel slip.
Beautiful.
Great oil-slip resistance. Comfortable on concrete all day.
