I thought the Beaver Fur Kudu would Patina very nicely. I love the scarring and visual texture of the boots.
These are my second Parkhurst boot in 9D. Almost all of my other heritage style boots are also 9D. No modifications were made to the last.
It was the typical online ordering experience. I emailed Andrew and instructed him to pick out the most gnarly Beaver Fur Kudu in size 9D that he had in stock.
I have an office job, so these are mostly worn on carpet. I wear them 4-5 days a week including weekend shopping with my wife.
They have not shown a lot of Patina other than scuffs, but the pull up is rather nice. I bought these just prior to the Thunderdome so I have not conditioned them at all, just brushing after every couple wears.
This last is almost bespoke for my feet. All of my heritage style boots are 9D. These are among the most comfortable boots I own.
I love the cap toe design of the Richmond. The construction is asking the best I own. The Kudu is quite supple and beautiful!
The lug sole has a little cushion, moreso than other lug soles I own. They are quite comfortable. I haven't worn them in snow or ice yet, but they've been grippy in rainy pavement.
These are my second Parkhurst boot, the Allen in Horween Dublin being my first. I'll definitely be buying more in the future!
