I’ve worn them doing a bit of everything, not too much wear in any one category or activity. I appreciate that these are a bit more rugged than my WMB boots

Leather

Care Routine
Break-In
Durability

Because the horsebutt is only ~2mm break in has been very easy. I brush maybe 2x a month and wipe down with a wet rag 1x a month. Wouldn’t wear these to trek in the winter because the leather is thinner and unlined.

Fit

Satisfied with the Fit

A little uncomfortable over distances over 3+ miles in the medial area of the ball. I had to insist these were sized based on my HTB and at an E width. Anything smaller would be uncomfortable. Toe box is at a great height and doesn’t bear down on my toes even with lack of structure. There isn’t much in the way of arch support but there’s a bit of padding under the sock liner.

Design
Construction
Durability

Construction and finishing are great, I expect these to last a long time. I’m not in love with Sagaras patterning on this one, I find the top down perspective and side perspective to make the vamp look short. Otherwise it’s a nice looking boot

Sole & heel

Dr. Sole #1122 Raw Cord Full Sole Black/Gray PlugsLess than a day, current sole
Durability
Traction

I like the raw cord and don’t find it too uncomfortable and that it performs well in many conditions

Final thoughts

Good Value

These are a great value boot.
