Bought for winter to be a more rugged style boot compared to my Thursday Captains.
I followed the directions on the Parkhurst website for sizing. They fit wonderfully.
I initially placed an order for a set of factory second Richmond’s in the same leather, but Andrew promptly reached out to me that the Richmond was out of stock. I chose to receive a Delaware as opposed to a refund.
I’ve used these nearly every other day, walking to class through deep puddles and a marshy field, and my feet have stayed dry.
I got these as factory seconds from the lack of wax in the leather. I applied Otterwax to these, and they’veen fantastic as the wax settles and wears away.
The fit on these is great. I find the narrow heel and wider ball area on the 618 last more fitting for my toes to spread out, but the volume on the 602M last is better in these.
Lovely design on these, the proportions are perfect for a heritage style service boot, and these brogue toe gives just a touch of class while the rest of the design is still rugged.
Good traction, comfortable, although slightly hard compound.
My grandma loves these boots. Having got these as factory seconds I believe this to be the best value pair of boots I own.
