Dark and stiff with a lot of white weft “grin” showing through the deeply saturated weft. Fabric looks identical to the Brave Star “Witness” from Cone Mills. Since both materials are 13 ounce deadstock Cone Mills denim, it’s possible they’re the exact same fabric, or extremely similar. They look and feel identical. Maybe the Gustin blue is slightly lighter than the Brave Star, but could be placebo. When worn together these appear to be a matching set (save for the tonal stitching on the Gustin workshirt).
