I received these boots on March 11. After a month, they’re now comfortable. I tried a thin leather/cork insole at first, but after a week I didn’t need it anymore.
Around the two-week mark, the boots started making loud creaking noises. Because of that, I wore them more for walks than for commuting—most people would probably feel awkward with the noise in a quiet office. The leather over the instep has softened, so that’s no longer an issue.
One problem remains: the lining still stains my socks. Otherwise, they’re breaking in well and feel good on foot. The Vibram Morflex sole is still lightweight and cushioned, which I appreciate for daily wear...."Read the full review
