I received these boots on March 11. After a month, they’re now comfortable. I tried a thin leather/cork insole at first, but after a week I didn’t need it anymore.
Around the two-week mark, the boots started making loud creaking noises. Because of that, I wore them more for walks than for commuting—most people would probably feel awkward with the noise in a quiet office. The leather over the instep has softened, so that’s no longer an issue.
One problem remains: the lining still stains my socks. Otherwise, they’re breaking in well and feel good on foot. The Vibram Morflex sole is still lightweight and cushioned, which I appreciate for daily wear...."Read the full review

I tried to wear them hard especially during the second half of the dome. These boots were worn on a ton of hikes through the Georgia mountains. Wore them to help my friend move a piano down three flights of ice covered stairs (do not recommend with leather soles). They also saw their fair share of skating.
