Routine wear around the house, yard, stores, restaurants, office and church. Basically just standard daily wear.

About a month in. Break-in seemed fairly easy with only some minor discomfort/hotspots on the instep. Overall, these are very comfortable boots. There are a few light creases starting to develop. I treated them with a weather proofing spray before wearing. I have yet to clean or condition them.

Heel slip is minor and expected. The instep can be tight, but it’s easily fixed by loosening the laces a bit.

Overall, I like the design and construction. I think the fit and finish could be a bit better.There are isolated areas that appear darker than other sections. Id say overall fit and finish is probably an 8/10. Which exceeds expectations for a boot in this price point.

So far so good. Grip seems good on various surfaces and conditions.

I like the heel. I have grown to appreciate the western inspired slant that helps with how the heel strikes the ground. It aids in taking longer strider and faster steps. The heel length is also growing on me.

I am really enjoying the Thursday Heritage Captains. This was a great introduction into the brand as well as heritage boots in general. I like the styling of the Heritage Captains. I find they are capable in casual and business casual attire. I suspect this will be a good all around daily wear boot.
