I got these boots because my dad had worn a similar pair when he was first joined the military in the 1990s, I chose them because I needed a pair of steel toed and hated modern style boots

I got these in person, they were surplus so I just chose the one I liked the fit of most, I like a pretty tight boot so I went about a full size down from my brannock
