Fits a little loose. I have a parkhurst Allen boot in 10 that fits great, especially after break in. Went up a half size with this pair to wear thicker socks and test the fit.

Why did you choose this item?
Didn't have a pair of black boots. Didn't have a cap toe pair of boots. Wanted to try out boots with a veg tanned leather to see how they age. Wanted a pair I could wear on the regular with jeans and let do their thing. It's a stretch, but I can also manage wearing these in a business casual work environment, especially on days that take me out of the office and onto a roof or into a mechanical room.
How did you determine your size?
Utilized previous experience with a size 10 in another model (same boot last) from the same maker. Parkhurst website has plentiful guidance, and they respond very well to sizing questions that folks may have.
What was the ordering process?
Found a pair on their website that was listed as factory samples and put in the order right then. Positive experience all around.
