Self-Made Custom Model

I wanted to make this boot because it’s been calling to me. From all the people I’ve met and all the things I’ve learned. The people the places. Many years of peoples lives to make these logging style boots. I get misty eyed thinking about Nick making boots back in the 60’s to support his family. It’s the American dream. This boot makes that still feel possible.

I’ve had years to try a lot of boots. I always size to the heel then to the arch and then the ball of the foot. Most will do a half size back but I prefer going to my Bran and just adding a soft leather insole. It gives me more versatility and gives more life to the built in insole.

It was great all the materials in total were very reasonable in price but I know that’s not what this question means 😉
