Thursday Captain

Good pair of shoes. Edges of soles had to be coated a couple of times because they lost their black color. Leather started a little stiff, but is now very supple. The strong leather smell hasn’t changed much. My daughter needed some polished shoes for an event in state government and these boots polished up pretty nicely from their original matte. After a half year of daily wear to school, the sole is only showing a little wear at the heel.

I originally ordered a few different sizes direct from Thursday, but the correct sized pair had a big flaw in the leather. It took them multiple emails and me sending pictures before they authorized an exchange. Then they used a third-party shipper that was just glacially slow. When I realized that the replacements weren’t going to arrive in time, I ordered a pair from Amazon. Those showed up in two days and I returned all of the direct ordered pairs to Thursday. Lesson learned: don’t order directly from Thursday, get them from Amazon instead.
