Truman Cap Toe Boot

I like the style of this boot, I think it’s a solid version of a versatile & timeless heritage boot for a fair price. I love the color and character of Horween’s Brown Waxed Flesh (Truman rebrands it as “Java”), it’s a rich dark brown that wears off over time revealing a nappy natural colored rough out; it’s a unique patina. It’s also extremely comfortable and is the best smelling leather I’ve smelled. For what it’s worth, these boots have very little arch support which for me is a little less comfortable but I’ve added a pair of delta arch half soles from Nicks and they have made a noticeable improvement.

Went true to brannock size based on many reviews and feel like it’s the ideal fit for me. A 9.5 would have my toes likely too close to the edge and I prefer a little more space than that.
