CowboyOperating my trusty singer 34, the machine the uppers were sewn with. I got it for free from my former boss, who himself secured the opportunity to get an old masters workshop who had passed away. Those machines are immortal and are being passed on from generation to generation. I will definitely give it to a greenhorn when my time has come, of course not without Stern words to keep it in good condition and honor it.

Why did you choose this item?
I just like chukkas. The first well constructed shoe that tickled something in my brain was a vintage camel desert boot with thick leather and massive crepe soles. It is only natural to come back to this style for me I'd say.
What was the ordering process?
I made them on the fly, when I had nothing else to do. Wanted to wear them on a buddies wedding, but I contracted covid.... Fml. Price is only materials!
