Ashland Leather Tall Fat Herbie

1 month down! This one-off, shell intact black Aspen leather from Horween is already evolving! Heading into the 'Dome, I wasn't sure how well this leather was going to patina. So I treated it like a science experiment and said let's see! The non-shell, matte black areas started off with a soft suede/nubuck feel to it, and has begun burnishing in high friction areas while worn in the back pocket of my denim jeans. The rigid and wrinkled shell areas were already fairly shiny to begin with, and have since scuffed and started to re-burnish a shine along the peaks of the wrinkles.
