This is my first pair of veg tan boots. I am surprised that the leather remains firm. I’ve not had any discomfort but definitely different than chrome tanned. Love the leather soles.

I did not want to neglect my other boots so I picked a natural veg tan leather so it would patina more quickly (if that is a verb). I found out that this was a popular strategy.
