Bought these in a UK8 G(Wide) before I got my official Brannock measurements, I guess my foot grew a size at some point as an adult. But they fit pretty good all things considered. I would go true to size as they suggest. and if you have wider feet or prefer to not have your toes squished definitely opt for their wide option.
As someone who started wearing wide toe box shoes in 2019, I was worried these might be too tight for me. But I think their wide option is pretty good and if you get the right size I don't think these are too intrusive on toes. Plus the leather will mold over time.
