Self-Made Flat Cap

I made this hat six months ago and had no idea what would happen with it. As the winter has worn on I've worn this hat through rain, snow, yardwork and groceries and everything in between. It spent a weekend lost under a coach cushion and it's been tossed around by the kids a whole bunch. It's sized perfectly for my head and I plan to wear this hat for a very long time to come! I get stopped all the time by people saying they love my hat. It's been very exciting seeing how this thing has aged. I can't wait to see what it looks like in another year or two. In my selfie photo I'm also wearing my jacket I made for myself two years ago. It was made from crazy horse buffalo leather with orange thread and I'm sad that it's starting to get almost too warm to wear it soon! This summer if you're ever in Minden Ontario check out the farmers market and look for me there. :)
