Grant Stone Cap Toe Boot
C.F. Stead Forest KuduI take my left boot off first with the toe of my right boot. So nearly the only noticeable wear is this little spot! (Right boot gets pushed off by my sock.). I guess dark-colored really tough leather isn’t what you want if you’re trying to show wear. But these should still be pretty in 10 years.

How did you determine your size?
This was my first pair of Grant Stone boots and I really wasn’t sure of sizing. I’m at 12.5 on a Brannock, so I ordered a 12. They were a touch roomy from the start but I was nervous that a 11.5 would be too small. In hindsight, they’re too big and I wish they fit better. All my other grant stone footwear is 11.5 and that’s just obviously better on my feet. (Also in hindsight, I thought my feet were hard to fit because I had a pair of Quoddy boat shoes in 12 that were slightly too small. Turns out Quoddy’s sizing just seems to be off, based on a bunch of other Quoddy shoes I tried on.)
What was the ordering process?
The Grant Stone online experience is great. It’d be nice if it were Amazon-level next day shipping, but it’s problem free.
