These boots are super comfy just like my Dune Cxl version. I’ve been on the hunt for side zip boots and the only ones I have found were 2-3x or more than these and most of the others have to be made whereas GS has the Dune Cxl, Natural Cxl RO, Black Cxl(on back order) and the Dark Oiled RO in stock. The Elias boot is the first I have tried in side zips and I find these super comfy. I love the shape of the toe box and the contrasty welt on this RO version and the Dune Cxl. First ever of the 270 degree welt. I can’t wait for these to show some indigo crocking from my selvedge denim jeans. Arch support is nice and super supportive. These are not the typical GS style footwear and when these first came out, I didn’t care for the look, but the more I looked at them the more I began to like them. So much so I bought 2 pairs. The first pair was the same size as my Leo lasted boots however, couldn’t get my foot into the boots so I went 1/2 up and it was challenging at first but once you wear them and get the leather to break in they were much easier to get on and off. They kinda remind me of Luchesse side zip boots. Kinda wished they had a Dr Soles green sole or maybe a leather sole. These are probably the sexiest boot I have seen in a long time and they’re built well.
