Hardworking Phil Dam Stomper

I’ve always struggled to find good casual summer shoes, especially of leather. These are perfect for that. I loved the natural foot shape and the fact that the strap can pivot up to the top of the shoe. Also, these were on sale at my time of purchase for an incredible price for handmade USA shoes in Horween leather.

Honestly, 13 was the biggest size offered and I figured I would need it, based on Phil’s website advice to size up if in doubt. There’s also a great sizing page on the website. They were snug at first length-wise, but have definitely loosened up. If I wear them with socks they’re still a bit short but I almost always wear them without socks. The strap also started on the very last hole but stretched as expected and now is on the third hole in, which allows me to tuck the tail back into the buckle as intended.

Excellent ordering process and fantastic packaging. I wish I had taken photos of how well these shoes were packaged. I believe they showed up exactly 2 weeks after ordering. I have a feeling Phil’s business is going to increase!
