Jim Green Barefoot African Trooper

Seriously considering waxing these. The nubuck/fudge leather is perfect in hot, dry climates, but I don't really care for the look and feel of nubuck. I'd like them to be more water-resistant. The only thing that makes me hesitate is that people say it's irreversible. I tried a small area under the tongue overnight, and the wax does indeed repel water compared to the untreated area. I'll probably do the whole pair tomorrow
