We had a break in the rain today on the Oregon coast. With our gradually sloping shoreline and seasonal king tides, it's not unusual to see the water surge up to 200 yards within seconds. Stay mindful of the high water lines and moist sand. Always watch from a good distance for 10 minutes to see the patterns of the surging waters.
