10" custom OTs, full smooth bison is a dream to wear and break in. They've been comfortable from day one, but after about 5.5 months of almost daily wear, they are so beautifully broken in and are starting to show it finally. I work an office job, but I hike a lot and bow hunt, so these have seen their fair share of abuse. The bison leather looks almost brand new, especially after a condition and brushing. These were on my feet for everything we did in Wyoming and Idaho in September, which was some heavy miles on harsh terrain, and they performed so well. Definitely heavier than what I'm used to, I've been hiking in sandals for 15 years, but some ankle injuries had me re-thinking my footwear on long treks, and these are perfect. You get the best aspects of the PNW boots, craftsmanship and materials, but they're a lot more flexible and don't weigh nearly as much. Some people will see that as a negative because of what JK did to create these boots, but for my purposes, these are the best boot on the market.

I wanted a pair of smooth out bison boots to do-it-all, and the OT checked the boxes. Worn these on hundreds of miles of hikes across the country, in knee deep snow to 100° desert hikes, and everything in between. The leather looks brand new and they've broken in so nicely
Used JKs sizing guide and bumped the width up to a 3E as I like my toes to have a lot of room
