Wow these have completely transformed over the past month, they have darkened into a deep caramel with a reddish maghogany undertone on the smooth side while maintaining that touch of orange on the rough side. Dark patina on the burnished edges and on the rough side where I’ve been gripping dumbbells and barbells. They are now softer and more comfortable than any woven nylon straps I’ve used previously.
