Tobacco Waxy Shell CordovanThese were originally meant to be my wedding shoes, but we decided I needed black ones… So I’m going to use them as my everyday boot leading up to the wedding instead! I entered them in the Dome to encourage me to say yes to more excursions, plan more outings with my family, and take advantage of more opportunities to get and do something fun. I christened them with a morning walk with my puppy before work, and I can’t wait to see how they handle the family hike this weekend.

Prefect fit in the heel cup and where my arch lands. Snug but not tight in the toes. I have skinny ankles so I need to cinch the top 5 holes/speed hooks all the way, but it does work and feels dug and supportive.

Arrived with a lot of “natural character” as you should expect with most Meermin boots. The waxy shell has a slight nap, which is the most prominent on the vamp and almost non existent on the heel counter and toe cap. The tongue is incredibly pliable and unlined.Shop similar
