I bought these during the recent seconds sale for $160. At the non-sale price, I’d probably be a little disappointed in the purchase, but these are a pretty nice value at the sale price. Both boots have slightly irregular lasting which I imagine is due to the soft and thin calf leather. This is my first lined boot, and I’m surprised by how insulated they are relative to my other boots. I don’t love this last, and it makes me really appreciate how comfy my 618 last Parkhursts are on my foot. This boot is fine, but it’s a little sloppy in the heel and slightly tight in the toes. The midsole is very thin, and I don’t think that I’d want to stand around all day in these. They are nice to throw on to run an errand though, and that’s how I’ll be wearing them so no problems there. Even though the leather is rather thin, it looks like they will patina really nicely. It’s a very waxy veg tan, and I think they’ll take age with grace.

Perhaps a shade more snug than I’d like around the ball and pinky toe areas, and the heel could be a touch more tight. Generally though, as something I’ll just throw on to run an errand, they are perfectly comfortable. I can imagine that going up a half size with a nice insole might be the move though. The midsole is very thin.
