Well, 6 months flew by. The overwhelming sense of time slipping by in these tremulous times was only amplified by the patina that accrued in the cracks of this horsehide. Yet, as I reflect on this competition, I am reminded that slowing down and focusing on the now, has helped me tackle some awesome challenges, start new journeys, and say good bye and hello to many a good time. I am grateful to have been a part of this competition. Where I can slow down and remember the daily wear and tear of all my garments. That will now have sweet memories of the impermanence and patina of a life well lived. Cheers!
