Self made pair I did through a course. Stoked how they turned. In the course we designed pattern according to the last we selected and feet measurements. But the orthotic I wear threw off correct dimensions so had to be adjusted halfway. I originally made to wear for a mate's wedding. They accommodate my orthotic well and probably some of the most comfortable shoes/boots I've ever worn. Outsole is soft rubber to which I've already glued some topy material on the lateral portion of the heel to stop too much premature wear. Leather is Roo or specifically Falconry Kangaroo leather believe it's about 1.1mm both super soft and tough. Was vege to start and did layer of tan dye then black (attempting to try teacore, to some extent thus far). I was sceptical on roo as it always seemed like cheap leather in my mind but after wearing it's absolutely some of the best I've ever had. 100% recommend others to try, as well for leather laces normally I find leather laces both bulky and quite fragile but roo literally solves both those issues, super thin and strong. Not even worth using other leather laces honestly.
