Brian himself described the Townsman as a hybrid between the White’s Semi-Dress and the Alden Indy Boot. These are my two favorite iconic models, and I was itching for a moc toe boot. It was a no-brainer for me.
How I sized
Brian measured my foot in person at his workshop in LA.
Ordering process
It was quite straightforward. I discussed I was looking for a shell cordovan boot in the aforementioned style. He produced a wonderful Horween Color 8 shell, informed me about the moc toe option, and we shook on it!
