Self-Made Lace To Toe

Spent a week in Norway at our cabin where we absolutely drowned in snow. Did some snow shoeing and shoveled a lot of snow in these. I assumed I had left a pair of Red Wing Ice Cutters at the cabin last winter but that wasn’t the case. These were not that great as the soles offer barely any isolation and Dr Sole Supergrip soles become very hard at -19°C(-2.2° Fahrenheit) and offer zero grip. I’ve also had to treat them with a heavy dose of Sno-Seal as that’s the only thing I could find in the cabin.
