Truman Cap Toe Boot

First pair of Trumans on the formal last. They are a bit more snug in the waist and heel than the casual last but with a wider, flatter toe box. Like most Trumans, getting them on is a bit of a chore, but they are secure and comfortable. Really enjoying the feel of the Eugene sole so far. It is lightweight, but feels grippy. This is my first experience with Crazy Cow leather, which looks and feels very waxy. The “Overcast” color appears to be a dark gray, made nearly black with a heavy wax application. It will be interesting to see if the wax wears away over time and reveals a different color.
