Finally ending back where I started in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. After x amount of mopeds, countries, melons, people, and experience, I'm really happy to be able to stop and recount about it all. It's kind of sad I dont have an excuse to wear these as often now. The boots really flattened a bit and took the beating from eternal rainy weather season here really well. After cleaning them up with just saddle soap and conditioner, it's really still in great condition. It's amazing how much life is left in these vintage boots. And, here's Bupo somewhat wild kitten. Born a few months ago on the roof and now constantly climbing over my boots.

More about this item

Chose vintage to raise awareness on export waste. Made in Canada, Vintage Police Boots. Size markings are weird 6B but the eBay seller says she found out it's supposed to be 10B. According to the seller, sizing is best determined by the numbers following a 7 or 6B and then a quick comparison to outsole lengths of previous footwear (to check that you are at least in range). I followed her instructions and it worked great. I still ask for outsole measurements just in case 6B is actually 10D. Update: Alden SF staff told me that they believe this was made by either Dack's or Hartt of Canada. The leather is supposedly close to AE's polished cobbler.
